Please I need help to activate the developer console in story mode - please tell me how

please: could someone explain to me how I can open the developer console in story mode?
I wanted to see the eastereggs of the game in ghost mode, but I only managed to put it in sandbox mode, I have seen that there are videos on youtube of people who manage to activate it

here is the problem: the tricks settings come out only if they are in sandbox, if they are in survival, story mode, or in the menu it does not appear, does it work for you?

It did work years ago. I'm pretty sure I had to do that file change that says "glimpsegame.glimpseconsole", since I remember that word "glimpse" being part of the cheat, now that I see it again. I wondered at the time who Glimpse was, so I'm certain now that this was the type of console command I used.

It worked well in the normal story mode game. It's not the same thing as the sandbox cheat mode. I had to use it when I kept failing at climbing/jumping up to Lightbearer's window. I finally used "ghost" to get up there, and then "walk" to walk again while above the last climbing area, just before going in the window.

Anyways, forget about the previous Steam console commands/window. This other one is specific to just this game, and it's for sure the right one for using the tilda key and "ghost", etc.

I didn't remember that until I looked it up today. I thought I must have been using the ordinary steam console, but now that I see the instructions for this other console, I know for sure that it's this "glimpse" one which is the right one.

I had to end up having to learn how to do the jumping climbing anyways, since I started playing on a ps4 for a while, and they don't have any cheat codes there. :)

I mistakenly described tilde above as "~", but it's actually " ` ", which is the same key but without the shift held down.

It looks like the second site that I listed above (from https://www.gamepretty.com/we-happy-few-console-commands-2020/ ) is more up to date than the other one. It refers to the directory called config and a file called 'input.ini'. Those exist in the current game version.

The first site (https://gameranx.worldgateflorist.net/features/id/158861/article/we-happy-few-how-to-use-pc-console-commands-useful-cheats-guide/) refers to an earlier file system. There is no longer any config.ini file in the current game version.

One of the sites I quoted above says that part should be:
ConsoleKey=`
ConsoleKeys=`

So, it looks like it should be the actual tilde symbol: ` , instead of the word "tilde"

I know the secret washroom that you mean. There's some good loot in there along with the crazed zombie, like bigger bangers next to the toilets, or maybe it was those electroshock things. Hard to see the entrance hole under all the pile of junk, though.
