Does the game raise the level of difficulty on subsequent character campaigns?
Does that only allow you to make 3 pure waters from each water filter? I went down to get more water later and I think it consumed one of my water filters. It happened so fast that I didnt catch it.
I think there's one filter already in the machine, and one more filter on the counter. You can fill up the Joy water from the sink, and then put it right into the water filtering machine to the left of the sink.
This exact same thing happened to me the first time I played Sally. It drove me nuts. I couldn't the stuff I needed to make water filters, and I missed seeing the filtering equipment on the counter. I also had a hard time finding bobby pins. You can't buy lockpicks, but eventually you'll find all you need from various garbages, etc. Also, if you bribe the blue village bobbies, they often drop things. Sometimes bobby pins, apples, trungeons, or keycards. Sometimes nothing though.
Garden district taps and wells give clean water. After making the milk though, you'll mostly only need that for making tea or drinking plain.
A good way is to find the closest shelter everytime you explore the Garden District before going to a looting spree, allowing you to reach your home faster whenever you need it.
Also, the moment the baby icon reaches its 25%, best to get home to take care of the offspring to fill said icon up.
EDIT: typo.
Im glad to hear that they become easier to get later on! I need some. I wish the baby meter took longer to run down. Not much time to do anything and enjoy the game. I always feel so rushed.
I usually do all the quests I find when I find them, but with her you just have to leave them behind.
Is it like that the rest of the game, or can I do something like feed her again or change a diaper? That first run to get the milk was terribly hard because I couldnt reset that meter.
Do you have the recipe for caltrops (under weapons)? They're very handy especially if you can't make sharp weapons yet. You throw them on the ground and any npc's walking over them stumble and can't fight for a minute or so. Gives you time to take them out without them killing you first.
If you have any scotch, and access to the blue village bobbies (not garden guards), bribing them often makes them drop things like bobby pins, weapons, apples, keycards, etc. The bobby pins and maybe the weapons too, might be useful while still looking for rocks.
