Make better decisions and your customers and potential customers won't crucify you. They could have chosen a good amount of other companies to publish them but they went with Gearbox, so they made their own bed.

I personally like how they're locking threads for people calling them out. My favorite:

"- If you do not like Gearbox or Indie devs who are growing and evolving, there is absolutely nothing we can do. A lot of people want to paint us a evil but fail to provide actual proof. We've never lied, we are providing more content than we originally promised, we are giving all of our early backers extra rewards."

Actual proof. We could send you actual proof all day why we all hate Gearbox but in the long run, ya'll just gunna lock the threads anyways.

How to get rid of Toxicity? I don't remember Contrast having toxic forums, probably because the developers weren't a bunch of dimwits back then. Guess it's too hard to compare timeframes here.

No no no..

They're taking about the status effect

Toxicity.

That's literally what it's called.

I have no idea what it is and I don't think it ever does go down,I'm not even sure how to make it go up!

My toxicity is stuck at 4% though.

What?

If you don't like a company, the world isn't going to evolve around you and remove them.

Jesus Christ, provide us with some proof instead of whining about them "probably" locking threads that contain proof if you've never even tried to write one.

Stop whining and expecting the world to revolve around you just because you don't like something.

Woah

Yes i was talking about that it goes up each time your pop a joy and when it reach 100% you get the crash status effect that makes you puke insects. i found it you can remove crash with the crash syringe. btw i after the crash effect is gone your Toxicity is back at zero

Oh they did actually lock two threads but only because it more or less became an endless slinging match of disgruntled gamers ranting about the recent news, Cpt. Scarlett posting a link to the blog and explaining it and then the whole thing starting over again. Instable Monster summed up perfectly in another thread.

Probably better to let them die instead of clogging up the front page and keeping actual threads like this pushed to the back.

Patch Aug 18, 2017 @ 5:00pm
Toxicity doesn't decrease ever, from what I've found, it just goes up whenever you use Joy items... Unless it hits 100%, after which all joy is purged, and you enter a bout of vomiting.

During this time, hunger and thirst tank pretty quick, and suspicion is doubled, but it's otherwise harmless. If you want to be rid of it when it's near max (90% ish or more), take three-four items of food more than you need to max your meter, then go into a safehouse with a tap and chug joy-laced tap water until tox maxes. (If you OD once, don't worry, it's harmless, just wait it out; OD makes hunger and thirst stop) Once you hit the Crash point of 100%, wait it out for the 45 seconds or so it takes, eat up, and have another drink or so.

It ain't pretty, but I'm hoping in the future Crash syringes will decrease toxicity levels

Just tried that again; Joy Crash lasted a whole lot longer this time. Wonder if it's random how long you're sick?
