Well night watch is pretty fun, survival is probably the best and sandbox is a bit disappointing in my personal opinion cause it doesn't feel like we get to truly customise our sandbox also it just feels very barebones though i probably just set myself up for disappointment cause i thought sandbox mode would be very customiseable like set which islands spawn or what npcs spawn try to imagine a wellie island but you set it so only plague wastrels spawn that would be fun but so far you can only really customise what height the world is and how many npcs are in it through sandbox or at least thats what it feels like

Thanks for the feedback! You can choose which type of islands you want to spawn (village, garden or mix), unless you meant something different. We wanted to add the option of different NPCs but that proved to be very complicated.

If you have any other comment, let me know exactly what and we will look into it.

Okay sorry that island thing was my fault I actually didnt realise what it meant and just got confused but what about options to set the amount of health, hunger, thirst and sleep instead of just having the difficulty setting set them unless an option exists but i missed it

Another thing that would be cool but I think its only cause of me but an option as sally or maybe even the other characters to have to take care of Gwen maybe even have houses on different parts of the island there are cribs you can move her to but that would probably be too much work or something I dont know or it could just be gwen in the house in the village that you spawn in but Im probably the only person who would want this as an option in sandbox mode cause im insane and like weird strange mechanics

It's really neat, and the added npc animations and buildings in the sandbox mode are especially fun to see. :D I'm surprised by how much work was done in the short period of time.

Feed back on sandbox mode i kinda liked it but it feels kind of tull tho since lot of shelter variants are missing like in main story and tons of locations in island generation like parade district since i hoped that i choose campaing map load out as sandbox map with random map generation and then explore but nope all villages look the same no varriation on that no village that looks like parade district no different style shelters no cool underground locations to explore. But i hope that devs will impruve this with next update. Still fun modes tho.

I actually enjoyed Night's Watch and Sandbox mode, but I have some feedback.

In Night's Watch, the arms don't really belong to a Bobby (longer sleeves that partially cover the hands - it's Arthur dressed like a Bobby scrapped from the main story mode basically), but that's an aesthetical detail.

As for Sandbox mode, I do really like the settings and all these NPC variants, but I personally expected to choose a specific NPC class to spawn in the game, like an user stated before in the first comment (and I also see the reason to do not implement this in the dev's response).
But I'd also like to ask which kind of codes do we put in "Word seed" and "Setting String"?
For the rest, good work!

We wanted to implement the choice of NPCs but that proved to be too complicated :(

As for the world seed, whenever you start a game you get a world seed, let's say you and a friend wanted to play in the exact same map, you can give them the code and you'll both play the same map.

I've had a problem on the ps4, and it looks like at least one other person has had the same problem, based on what someone wrote on one of their community groups.

I tried to run bobby mode, and my data became corrupt, giving me a delete error. The other person said that they lost their saves, but it looks like my old saves are still there. What's missing though, are all my collected tv shows and masks from my old saves. I've started collecting them again. It's no big loss, since my trophies are still there. It's just in the 'extras' menu that they're missing.

So far, I've finished a survival mode, which works fine, and I've now started a sandbox game, which also seems fine so far.
I love night watch but i would like to suggest a more robust/optional tutorial.

My first time playing i ran out of Blackberry and then i was like "wait what" and then paid attention again and realised i have to constantly resupply instead of just doing my own thing.

I tried loading the bobby mode, and this time it worked. I don't like it very much, but survival and sandbox are great.

The only thing is, due to the earlier corrupt data, I can only so far play survival as Arthur, since it thinks I haven't played the full thing already. My old saved games were still there, but the game doesn't recognize it in regards to playing as the others for survival mode. I'll have to play through the story mode again to make it work, I think.

Sandbox, in unprofessional style, looks great!

I went through the old news office, in Survival mode, and the cats pointed out something very weird!

thomas14 Mar 27, 2019 @ 8:43am
Night watch is wellie mode
giraffe Mar 27, 2019 @ 9:29am
yeah it said somewhere night watch was formerly known as wellie mode, one question i have is the pneumatic stash bugged? i remember being able to craft at the alchemy bench using ingredients that were in the stash, but now i seem to be unable to
Smoking Flowerpot Mar 27, 2019 @ 5:37pm
In survival mode, you have to have the items on you, as well as sometimes needing a table.
giraffe Mar 28, 2019 @ 6:10am
is that stated somewhere or is it a bug?
