Maybe we'll get We Happy Few 2 based on the USA.
Synopsis:
The Trump administration got so bad, and the world became so crazy, that people have to take drugs to get by.

Wait. It's already happening in real life.

It costs £40 for me to do it virtually in a game.
I don't even want to think what it'll cost me IRL, with tax and such.

Yup, the Joy Pill is literally just an escalated form of subversion and distraction, and we have that in spades here in America already.
