Ok, so I had a problem with being aware that the shock grenades were available. I quit, found out, went down (it says "defeat the jubilator"), and it's not there! The jubilator is gone! "Talk to Peter Thump" causes no reaction (because I haven't defeated the jubilator)! Do I have to start a new game now? I don't want to join the *holes, but are they right? What can i do?

Why did you quit?

I guess to make some shock grenades?, but if you looked around a bit you would have found a crafting bench to craft the nade's in 1 of the rooms.

How did you quit? did you alt F4? taskmaster force close? Or follow in-game quit?

As I know you have had some real problems with this quest line, I am wondering if something in your save file has corrupted.

Can you reload an earlier save? I.E last shelter visited or even a manual save point?

I quit because the jubilator killed me. I quit normally. Save, quit. I looked to see what I could do. I found the crafting bench. I did not have the parts I need, hell I don't have the bluprint for shock grenades. I found the dispenser for shock grenades(well, that was new). Got 3 of them. I went for the fight. But the machine is gone.There are no saves, other than this one. I'm hoping a dev will see and tell me how to bring up the console. There is no escape. I'm stuck and tired(I have food & drink). "I think I'm going to die down here"

Same issue for me. I had to quit to deal with family issues :-). In the middle of the fight (unable to save game). When I continued game, jubilator was not there. Nor was Peter, and it still noted "defeat jubilator" and "talk to Peter". I ran around a bit, and unfortunately the autosave was now AFTER that point, and an earlier save was MUCH earlier in the game (I had played the game for mroe than an hour up to the battle). UNless I completely replay from the earlier save up to the battle, then I"m out of luck I guess.

I am shocked the devs have not seen nor fixed this bug? or are we the only two to have it happen to them (that would be most unusual)

Answer: save often and frequently. Forget that and, yes, you have to do it again. Young people tend to feel the game should save for them, instead of them. Smart phones = dumb people?

If you go to the propper place for bugs, you will se devs have answered this.
