Sally stuck in the garden district?

I screwed up. I'm playing as Sally and I seem to be stuck in the garden district. Its super early in her story line (I haven't even got the 'feeder' set-up yet for the life-drainer). I have all the ingredients to make sunshine EXCEPT flour! I've ransacked every kitchen I can find and it just doesn't seem to be in the garden district at all. I can't make joy (at least not yet) and I can't find any either. I need to cross back over the Megidoo Bridge to continue and advance in the game but I can't work out how...

There should be a little joy dispenser attached to the wall, it’s on the right side of the downer detectors.

fast travels locations are open for the garden and st george (or whatever it is) so no need to walk at all

joy dispensers exist.

you start with some sunshine on normal difficulty...well i did

you don't really find flour you buy it. it's far more likley in maidenholme and st george cupboards then it will be in the gardens

you have to get out of the arthur mentality. sally is a very different character. spec into money asap you solve sally's problems fiscally rather than physically
