Mystery house help

I've gone through heaps of mushrooms trying to get through this thing.....any advice or help would be much appreciated

You need to wait for the night (starting at 11.00 pm) and then eat the histoplasma mushrooms.

Oh, yes: despite the second released hotix that was supposed to correct this buggy issue, several people are keeping having it.
If you have made several attempts and want to complete it the same, you'll be forced to open up the console and use "aiignoreplayer" cheat to be unseen and complete the quest.

I had also major problems with this quest. I tried to find a safe spot and learn the movement patterns of the characters. (there are also different entrances. Maybe one in the back is easier?) You need to reach the right room on top of the stairs. If you know where to go and are aware where the characters are going, it might be a bit easier.

I beat it first try
*shrug*

I used a blending suit and (optional) some sneakers.

The key of this quest is patience. The cultists should be praying to.. whoever it is allowing you to sneak around them.

You just wait for people to start praying and move around them.
Took me 3 minutes. Although it might take longer depending on the AI

I never had a problem with this quest as long as i had some sneakers equipped and a few bottles to chuck

Wow. I was having the exact same problem. I onlyast about a few seconds of being in the house haha. I'll have to try those sneakers. Never thought to try that.

A way to distract people pointing them at a certain direction to get past them: I never used this method in any of the quests in the game.
I may try it.
