Finally! A post on these forums.

It’s from another quest-line in the garden district where you have to help a loony who you find in a tree house find his doll and other things.

It’s a thing the developers just put in the radio to make people laugh

No...it's not. But, ok, yeah. Whatever. I know exactly where it's from and what it means. I was curious to others opinions of what it entails. Boy are you going to be surprised. That's if it isn't.

that came out wrong, it wasn't to make people laugh but it made them think they were starting a mission only to realise it was the johnny bolton, atleast, that's what I thought when I first heard it.

it would be exciting to see if it leads to anything else, but I'm not sure if it will. but who knows? we don't know what could happen with it.

The revolution is real. Arthur has become (unknowingly) part of it. It feels like part of the bigger story. Which we don't know yet. But it bodes well. Just seems....off, to script that radio interlude just to make people laugh. But then worshipping a vegetable or a rubber duck seems perfectly normal.

There’s definitely been hints dropped at some form of organised resistance.

Though I think the radio was just a bit of a red herring and to show that Johnny is so obsessed with his spy games he’ll go to great lengths to play it out.

Dr Verloc seems to be a pretty big player on account he might be responsible for the recent Joy failures. And 2 weeks till the story is all complete but the game has work to be done. It’s like a play where the actors have got all their roles mastered but the props/backdrop are still in need of work or haven’t even been started.

Dr.Verloc is a very important character to the game's storyline,he seems to be some sort of.. joy professional and is working on a new. permanent joy system.

I know that Johnny Bolton sends you to his lair (the quest isn't finished just yet) but I'm not sure how those two are related to be honest,

Arthur also has personal business with Dr.Verloc. but we're not sure what. who knows, maybe everyone has some sort of relation to Dr.Verloc? it's a mystery waiting to be solved.

Yes. I was thinking that indicators lead to the treehouse, old soldier, and newspaper quests being connected in some way. Every crazy guy with a "can't be true" idea fixated in films and books, turns out to be right. As to joy failure, notice if you drink it (from taps), you're "one pilled" ,and if you take a pill (found somewhere), you're "three pilled". Bad joy reminds me of a certain drug "crisis" that popped up in the snakes a few years back. Something wicked this way comes.
