Where i can get wood for wagon crafting?

1. You can find initial logs & planks in the chest in the carriage with the heart.
2. From there, from future reference, chop trees, build the log-workbench and use logs in the log-workbench to craft planks and everything else.

I am stuck at the same point. The supply crates in front of the train and inside the train with the heart are empty. I can basically not progress at this point.

Hey Odin,

if the chest in the Tender carriage (the one with the giant heart in it), you need to get off the train, chop a few trees, bring the logs onto the train, build a Log Workbench and create the planks you need to build carriages.

TOO LONG. I had used ALT + F4 from it being 1 produced at a time!

Am I missing something or it didn't tell me to do that? It told me to build a Carriage piece.

EDIT: ok I found the other crate in the heart room and the wood was there. My bad!

There are planks in one of the chests in the heart room. You are asked to create at least a piece of the carriage and then you need to create a Log Workbench. If you run out of planks, you'll need to chop a few trees off-board and make some more planks.

Yes thanks, I'm saying I never go the Log Workbench quest. Only the "build a carriage piece" icon kept flashing. Not saying constant hand holding is required, but the game log is directing me wrong.
