MP4 Codec Export Error

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to export a 42 minute clip as an MP4, and I've tried twice with it erroring out after several hours of compiling. I don't have the exact error message, but I remember it referenced the codec having an issue. The codec I am using is the one it downloaded through an internal prompt.

Has anyone gotten this before? If so, do you know why it happens, and do you know how to work around it? Is it a video length issue? Are there other MP4 codecs I can download that might not error out?

I did an AVI export, but that resulted in a 450 GB file, which I doubt Youtube/Google would be too excited to upload.

Install the K-Lite Codec Pack (Google for download link) may help. You already tried to upload to youtube directly from inside movie edit?

I managed to get it to work by using a pre-set template for exporting on the MP4 codec on the drop down menu, which I wasn't doing previously - but I will definitely check that codec pack out for the future, thanks
