Cant find my server

Hi,
i want to play DM with my son. But i create a server, he cant see it in the list. We are both at home in the same network.

thx. But it didnt help. We tried every beta. But he cant find the server i create. Not in the internet list or in lan.

I think you need to add an exception in your Windows / AV firewall on the port used for the dedicated server. :)

I have no dedicated server. I just start the game and choose "create server". Before the update it works fine without port exeptions

Can you ping the local ip address of your son ? And your ip local too from his pc ?

please stop trolling or say garbage thing. It don"t need any vpn to play in local.

Whoever is hosting the server, open up your command prompt and type in ipconfig, find your local ip, then the player wanting to join your server, have them open up the console in their game and type: connect (the local ip from your ipconfig search):27015;

If that does not work, you will need to port forward 27015 to public facing via your router or modem settings.
