Offline Team play
Hi, Does anyone know if its possible when hosting an offline HL2 Deathmatch to be able to keep the teams so they don't randomise for each new game/map? Thanks

So you are saying if you used "Create Server" with Teamplay checked, it will start the server with teamplay on, then after the timelimit ends or map switches, it will get set to deathmatch?

If that's the case, write mp_teamplay 1 in console the moment you're inside the server you created.

I think you need competetive/tournament cfg, they should have options for such thing.

Check out "Server Configurations" category.

No need for them heater, these configurations are long un-updated.

Set mp_teamplay 1 and mp_timelimit 15 in your server.cfg inside the cfg folder on your dedicated server directory.
This will keep teamplay 1 forever and set the timelimit to 15 minutes (Change if you want more time).

You will need to join teams manually then using jointeam 2 (for combine) and jointeam 3 (for rebels) in console. jointeam 1 is for spectate.

If you want to restart the game write in console mp_restartgame 5 (5 seconds until restart, only done by an admin).

If you want to have an offline or LAN game with your friends, you can use sv_lan 1 (Put it in server.cfg as well)

I wrote this information because I still couldn't get what you needed, but I hope it helps, if not, write more.
