Can't open console

I have Windows 10 and this game works just fine. But I ticked in the Option the Developer Console. And when I hit the ,,under the esc'' Button it still doesn't let me open the console. Have anyone this Problem too and now how to fix this ?

It's because you have your keyboard layout set to something that's not english probably.

Go to: steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 Deathmatch\hl2mp\cfg , open file: config.cfg with any text editor, ctrl+f for "toggleconsole" , replace the bind key with something else and try again.
