'Missing Maps'

Nearly every server I try to join within HL2:DM comes up with an error saying 'Missing Maps'.
I have tried a few techniques to try and fix this but nothing has worked.

If you have anything I can try, please let me know,

Have an autoexec.cfg with these and test the issue again:
cl_allowdownload 1
cl_downloadfilter all

Just tried this and tried a couple of times on different servers, I thought it was working at first as it downloaded a bit more than it did before but then it came up with the error so not really any luck so far :/

Couple more options, refresh your game's cache file or move your entire hl2mp folder and make the game redownload pure game files and test the issue again.

Otherwise, it might just be the server that does not want to make you download the map.

I attempted refreshing the game cache a few hours ago that didn't work :/

When I move my hl2mp folder, it is unable to start up the game at all (Comes up with an error message). Do i need to remove the game then reinstall? *Sorry if I sound dull*

When you move your HL2MP folder, refresh the game's cache again. It will download the files and it will make sure that you do not have anything conflicting with your downloads.

If you can, test the issue on another computer.

If it still does not download after doing all that, I would look for something on your computer that would refuse the game to download.

If nothing seems to work, then it might just be the server. You can attempt to find the map online, or on the server's web page (if it happens to have one).

Tried everything and no luck, it's so annoying that this happens to the majority of the servers that I want to play.
I keep trying to find the maps that they're on but can't find them anywhere, ugh.

The majority that I can't get onto are coop and puzzles, but also some of the deathmatch/team deathmatch one's too

Try renaming your maps folder to old_maps.

Delete your download folder as well in your hl2mp folder.

try joining 87.117.216.202:27015 all maps are definitely there and on fast download.

It is taking quite a while to download, but I'm sure this one will work if on fast download. Just wish the other servers would work for me!

The map should download in a matter of seconds, where are you located UK, US ?

UK, normally the servers do download fast for me (the ones that work)

Ok my server is in the UK so it should work for you without any problem.
