If you want to do a blocklist which will be needed to update frequently because of the fact they can automate port changes thats fine. But i don't like your trying to hijack wider blocking efforts with a new post and a less effective blocking method.
So its better if we combine forces here and stay in one topic (Which i can add your blacklist to if you want) otherwise ill update my warnings to point specifically to my post and not the existing check the steam community message.
For people interested my script is availible on http://content.hl2dm.org/spamfilter so is the entire list of IP's it will automatically block. It blocks it on all ports, so unlike blocklists it will last. I have not had to update the list in months because they are not proactively hiring new servers and it would cost them money to do so. While with the blocklist method they can automatically avoid the block.
If you want to use a blocklist method we'd have to test the limits of HL2DM's blocking, by automatically grabbing my RogueIP's list in php, and then spitting out a line of those IP's with every possible port they could run it on. That would probably be over a million lines of blocks which is why i did not choose to use that method.
I'd like you to either remove this topic and use mine which we can restructure and add your method to, or add my method to the instructions so people can choose what they like best.
Update: Seems like your blacklist is more effective than i thought, but it does not block them on steam's server browser where its the biggest problem since ingame they can't spoof the players as easily. It might be worth creating that blocklist generator in php after all so we can easily combine forces and just add the IP's to the txt file and have blocklists auto generated.
Update 2: I have added a Download_Blacklist option in my folder which will automatically generate new blacklists based on the currently known IP's. If you update the Zeitgeist warning and provide download links there for the three methods (Blacklist, Firewall Script and IP list) we are in sync again. Then players can use what works best for them. The way you present their fake server list is nice, so feel free to crawl my RogueIPs.txt in that script if you want that automatically updated with the list to.
For all readers, please note that the blacklist that you can download on https://www.zgeist.eu/forum/download/file.php?id=321 works on all operating systems and is always updated.
After finding out that the blacklist method works (But not on the steam server browser so the firewall solution is still preferable) i also included this method in my public blocklist.
Mine can be downloaded at http://content.hl2dm.org/spamfilter/Download_Blacklist.php and is automatically generated based on RogueIPs.txt in the same folder. All you need to do is link to that URL and then we are not duplicating efforts and you still get to enjoy the blacklist method you prefer (I still urge you to leave this up to player choice).
A comprehensive guide on the various block methods can be found here, which i will now be linking people towards : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2502626384
In my opinion this shows a profound lack of etiquette which I do not wish to associate with.
