Do soundpacks bought on the Music Maker Jam have Audio Pro Licence?MM2015 Premium

Hi,

I own Music Maker Premium 2015 and paid 100 USD on steam.

Firstly, I would like to express my huge disappointment over the fact that I bought the software on steam for 100 bucks and yet it still does not include the Audio Pro License for the few soundloop packs it has in it.

Why do you expect us to buy the license for another 40 USD on top of the 100 USD i already paid. The information on your website and amazon is misleading to quite an extent. It should be clearly mentioned that you cannot use these to make music that you can call your own or use commercially.

Secondly,
I wanted to know that if I buy the soundpacks on the Music Maker Jam app on the iPad, do I get the Audio Pro license for them or do i have to spend another 3 Bucks for each pack to buy the license for them on Catooh?

This would not make sense as I can then just buy the sound pack on Catooh directly for the 3 bucks instead of paying twice. Then I don’t know how i can use the pack on my iPad to make music on the go since i already paid for it.

How can I transfer the sound pack i buy on the iPad to my PC for further editing? Or do you expect us to buy it twice?

I want a developer to help me with this information as I don’t want to spend another 13 USD to buy premium phone support after already spending 100 bucks. This is also ridiculous.



I will write my review on amazon based on the answers I get here preferably from the developers. Right now I am at a point where I cannot give it more than 1 negative star despite its huge potential due to the shortcoming I have mentioned above.

Lastly I don’t see a product key when I bought the product on steam. Is this normal?

Dont get me wrong I like the software else I would not buy it. I think making the application accout based with a ID and password would eliminate some major issues. Example : If it is ID and password based then one can log into the Music Maker Jam and have his soundpacks, audio file and soundloops purchased on Catooh automatically shown in the app. I think this will also make it easier for the customers to download thier files to the PC easily and not worry on having to find ways to connect the Music Maker Jam to get the loops.

These are just sugesstions I dont know if it is possible technically for you guys but it can definately be looked upon.

Update
The Music Maker JAM Apps hangs every time I try to email the track from it to my email.

Also one of them got through and the PC MM 2015 says it doesn’t recognize the file.

Any ideas on this???????

Apparently the MM Premium 2015 doesnt support its own m4a files created in the Music Maker Jam...lol

at first we want to thank you for overall feedback.
Music Maker provides the possibilty to create music, which you can use commercially.
The Audio Pro License is just for the included samples and loops. If you use the VITA instruments or other VSTs, without using the audio loops there is no problem at all.

If you buy a soundpack for Music Maker Jam in the app, you pay for usage of the soundpack in MMJ constantly, but for commercial use you also need to buy the pro license on catooh.
When you buy the soundpack on catooh you can't actually import it into MMJ.

The export/import function from Music Maker Jam on iPad/iPhone to PC is not provided yet, but will be possible in the next few updates. So you don't have to pay for the style two times or need to record it as audiofile m4a.
Sharing seems also be bugged and will be fixed in an update really soon.

Thank you for the reply, I have made some music witht he MMJ but i the APP hangs every time u email the song and u have to restart the ipad to email another recorded sound. I think this will be needed to looked upon as awell. Maybee its my iPad 2 but iam not sure as every thing else is working fine. Do u think the app is to heavy for older iPads?

One more question. If we use vocal loops from the soundpacks, and since we dont know who sung them can i write imaginary names in the final tracks we make? This is obviously for non commercial sharing. What if we get the licience can we then use imaginary names for the vocal loops?

Update. I have made 2 tracks with the MMJ app and have noticed that in the final recording it missing a few notes here and there. Please look into this aswell. Refering to the drum hits in particular.

Update: I bought like 7-8 Sound packs in MMJ yesterday and now when i Woke up to resume working on them they are not showing up in my styles and the App is hanging indefinately and I dont want to reinstall it as I will loose my work i put it...

Thanks for the reply, I have stopped working on the MMJ as it had several issues. I will write you an email. But i have spent over 250 hours on the main music maker 2015 program where i have valuable feedback that i can provide. I was told earlier they are separate. So would you like to provide you feedback on the Music Maker Premium 2015 also? As that is where i have spent over 250 hours now. Please let me know.
