Is Pathologic 3 really just Pathologic 2 DLC?

The Bachelor's version of events... that should have been a Pathologic 2 DLC as promised.

I was hoping the other 2 paths would be added in Pathologic 2. I even got the overpriced demo DLC to support the devs, but rebranding the Pathologic 2 DLC as Pathologic 3 is really a scummy move.

Thank you for the beautiful Pathologic 1 and Pathologic 2 games, and sorry for what you have become. I won't be buying the 3rd game.

Can't wait for Pathologic 4 with the Changeling's version of events.

Gonna stop you right there since you're like the 10th person making this claim. Going back to the very first announcement in 2018 that they would split the campaigns, they've said that it wasn't set in stone whether future characters would be DLC under Pathologic 2. Contrary to some claims here they also never said future characters would be free. The only actual promise was that backers are getting all of it for free, which is still true.

Nice bait. The devs went all out with Path2, and man it works waaay better than path1 ever could.
