They're asking a perfectly normal question, don't be a jerk.
So you can think of patho 2 and 3 as sort of remakes of the first game, but they flesh out the character differences a lot more.
In the first game, there wasn't a huge amount of difference between the routes (obviously there were some core changes, but generally speaking, they had a lot in common)
2nd and 3rd game are trying to make the different characters have unique gameplay mechanics
So unless you really feel like you want to experience the third character, you can safely skip the first game and go straight into patho 2/3
