Come On Arlo People, Step It Up

Hear me out, I'm making my case, vote the way you want, but at least consider this:

Currently Fang is winning over Arlo in the Kickstarter vote. This is just my opinion, but I feel that is such a missed story opportunity. We KNOW the Sky Sharks are making an appearance in this game so it makes total sense for a member of the Portia Civil Corp, specifically Arlo with his Flying Pigs obsession, to be in Evershine. We already have Logan and Builder coming from Sandrock, let's tie the three together.

We're potentially missing a great story for cute doctor. Not to throw shade at Fang, I married him and always max his friendship if I don't, but he had his story. There is no good reason to send him to Evershine based on the context of what we know.

Logan was in the original version of Evershine so I think they are re-purposing that content.

ETA: I'm kinda hoping his mom is a Sky Shark.

EETA: You can find YouTube videos of his stuff from ProjectME to see what his content was. His outfit was red then, like it is now.

EEETA: I was actually kind of bummed to see Logan was in ProjectME because it effs with my head canon. I would absolutely vote for Arlo over Logan in this expac, but that's not a choice (no, I didn't marry Arlo, he belonged to Nora).

I just changed my votes from Fang to Arlo. I didn't think he would manage second place, so seeing him there made me think of how he'd interact around town and I feel he'll be more interesting. I'm sure Fang will be added in somehow since he's a part of Logan's gang
I also want to see Arlo and Ragnar be reckless together, and this is the closest way that will happen lol

Woohoo! I mean, I'd love to see Fang in this new art style - he is gloriously beautiful in Sandrock already, but I just think the story potential with Arlo is so much greater.

I never got to read this as I have a steam game, not the switch collector's edition. I'm actually really salty over that.

I didn't know we could view the results so far. (Edit: Oh I see, just noticed the KS update.)

Looks like Cooper won't win - not like his presence would make much sense anyhow, I was going with my feelings. So sure, I switched my vote to Arlo. You make a good point that his appearance would not require any contrivances.

Yeah, this is a good point, Arlo makes so much sense. It makes me wish the Pathea writers were just left to create the story they want instead of having to change it to fit popular votes. That's my biggest beef with Pathea at the moment honestly, just let the writers choose the characters best for the story, instead of catering to fan service.

But mind you, Fang joined the Monster Hunters too together with Logan and Elsie. (they put it somewhere in the small-story updates on kickstarter, no?)

So Fang-story would also be interesting. But who knows, if Arlo got so popular and Pathea could totally see him in the story, they might add it too ;)

I wasn't aware that there was a comic until you mentioned it, so that was good to know. Looks like folks on Discord have asked repeatedly in Pathea's "ask us anything" events if it'll ever be sold separately from the physical collector's edition (which isn't even produced anymore?), and far as I can tell they never picked that question to answer. 🥺

I'd happily buy it if they made a digital version available. I've seen scans online, but it would be nice to pay for an official copy.

Having looked at those scans, [comic spoiler] and assuming that the guy who looks like him actually is him...I've become even more convinced that Arlo should show up in Evershine.
