How do I select a chapter to start the game?

Serious question here. I am at what is being described as the level hub (where you get to choose which chapter to play). I go to the first and only brightly lit circle which I assume is the first level. The circle moves and I see the text 'Select the Chapter' up top. Now what? Nothing I click on works, and enter/space/clicks aren't doing anything.

Is this a bug? Am I just a mongloid? Both?

Edit: In case it matters, I also cannot exit the game without Alt-F4. When I get the 'Exit Game' prompt, I can't click on any of the buttons. Its like its not accepting my mouse.

I also have done a reverify of the game cache, no impact.

Hi,
You should be able to access a level by pressing R. There have been other players having issues with buttons that don't display, or the tooltip indicating that you should be pressing R, but it was long ago :/
If you have any additionnal controler plugged in, unplug them. And if that doesn't work, list your computer specs here and wait for Frozenbyte support

There has been a few reports of this kind of issue. I recommend looking through this and this thread to see if they provide any assistance.

Did you buy the game during Early Access? In that case cleaning up the %APPDATA%\Trine3\UserBinds should fix the issue.

Sorry for the delay! There has been a lot of messages.

It seems strange that there is no key prompting with that text, but good that it works! I'll check if there is something we can do about this, but I can't promise anything because we haven't seen this before.

Not all issues are easy to replicate or fix. Don't assume they don't care.

Have you tried resetting controller settings (via game or by deleting %appdata%\Trine3 folder)?
