Very high GPU temps (around 92 celsius). Is this normal?

You're welcome! Oh, and the other good benefit of having V-sync on is it reduces or eliminates screen tearing which is annoying and 60fps is more than enough to play a game smoothly anyways. These guys wanting 100+ fps in games aren't making anything better, only adding more heat to their GPU and their computer case, and probably have lots of screen tearing going on.

You are so ignorant towards people with 144hz monitors (or any monitor above 60hz in fact). People who want over 60fps probably has monitors to support it. And yes, it makes a difference. While I myself only have 60hz monitor and can only really benefit from 60 frames per second, I have played plenty on 144hz monitors with over 100fps to notice the difference.

I'm far from ignorant I'd say. I solved his issue after all. If his GPU can't take the heat above 60fps then he needs to use V-sync and/or cap his frame rate to 60 or under, so having a 144hz monitor isn't going to help him anyways. I honestly haven't noticed much difference between a 144hz monitor and a 60hz monitor myself. The difference is so minute it's not worth the hefty price tag of getting a 144hz monitor unless you're working with heavy graphical design programs. For gaming, 60hz with a 60fps frame rate is smooth as a baby's bottom for most and is the standard configuration for most gamers.
