That Ending...
I have loved every moment of this game, the art, the characters and the cracking writing... except for the ending...

that felt far too abrupt, it was great putting all the pieces together and then suddenly vague lever choice and giant sphere energy 'plosion and Jenny just glitches out of existence TO BE CONTINUED...

I'm on the same boat as you, this game was worth the wait (and that's saying something for a game prolonged to 5 years of push-backs)

I'm guessing (and hoping) everything gets explained in the continuation. I had the same mixed feelings. They have you make arguably the most difficult choice in the game, and then there's no real resolution of what choice you make or the results of your choice except for the glitching. Very oddly abrupt ending. The game had very solid pacing but then just mach 5 to the ending. So, yeah I just hope the continuation clears the air on some of this which might even be what the devs were going for. Leave you wanting more i guess.

so yeah i just finished it too and what????? is the ending purposefully vague with the indication that we’ll learn more if we play again? but i have to START OVER??? frustrated and confused. yeah i guess the devs want us to feel hooked and confused.

super curious which post it note y’all picked and whether it makes any difference....

It didn’t really feel all that abrupt to me, I actually kind of expected it to end at any point at or after rescuing Jenny’s mom. It really has me looking forward to Jenny Le2!

Also did anyone choose the happy ending? What happens?

Happy ending causes a tea picnic between Jen and Suz to happen, to feel wrong, and to get replaced.

Can someone explain the ending to me pls? After all of that, we get to pull the lever (does it matter which one???), and the person we chose disappears. Is there going to be part 2 ? The game was good, but the ending is so far unclear, not to say disappointing

There is indeed more episodes, though I can see the confusion as the advertising actually didn't communicate that very well. If I understand right, the last choice is a "vote" for how chapter 2 starts, and there may be more chapters than just 2.

I enjoyed the game, but it took years to get chapter one. I hope its not a super long wait for the continuation.

Ending is just massive (pun not intended) mass-effect 3 reference.
And developers should know, that it doesnt make it better. They should have just ended on "To be continued" without stupid "hero dies" kliffhangers. And they even express this through autor\narrator frustration! This buffles me.

Yeah, certainly did not expect that. I thought it would be a handy adventure game with a start, middle and the end, but it seems we have to wait for the end part quite a while. Maybe writers understood that their story was getting out of hand and decided it would be better with more games than one? Anyway, I hope they get to the second chapter soon!

If I recall, the original plan was multiple chapters with a "vote" at the end of each to determine how the next starts, described on the website.
I see this as a communication error, a massive one.

the next chapter is free, and a roadmap roadmap is foreseen?
or the chapter 2 is a second game ?

Whatever the case... I am glad this is to be continued as this adventure was awesome and the game soooo long. Was not expecting it to last this long as it did. Looking forward to continue the series on my channel.

for me her mom went pop, but I also let fate decide she died.
I'm pretty ticked off the game isn't complete. a bit misleading to people expecting an entire game that was never advertised as"chapter 1 "

anyways imo the most logival choiceis for her mom to die, so Jenny can continue on her books. makes no senseto wipe out jenny, when she'sliterally the one thing thw author wants to remain.

the dean needs to be alive as well, the mom can go. get86'd mom leclue.

Yeah I just got to the end and I do feel like it was too fast and it made me feel like they just rushed the game near the end, I picked Dean Strausberry to be killed off on those sticky notes and he was the one who disappeared for me so I guess whoever you supposedly kill off glitches out of existence, I think there'll be another twist that goes completely opposite to what we expect in the next game though.

they held a poll to determine who is sent away, so our choice was as meaningfl as in a telltale game.
