I just replayed this on normal, and it's kind of hard to say without pictures of tower placement, but the basic strategy is to save up and just push 6 minotaurs at a time right down the middle when you can afford it. On normal it only took me 2 waves of doing this, you should see doing this as your end goal to win.
Then you just need to keep your two sides alive to get to this point, I needed to send a few units to help defend but if I managed better I may not have needed to at all. There are not too many tower destroying units that come in so you should have too much of a problem keeping them repairs, just make sure to have a buffer of some cash.
I don't recall the towers you have unlocked at that point but the gatling gun is high damage and high HP which I know at least will be available, and don't forget to upgrade them.
Gargoyle towers are really good at backing them up if you have those unlocked at this point because they have great range. The additional DPS and range from an adjacent mage tower is great to have too.
Another great thing to do is to put probably 6 or so poison traps spread out throughout the path before the towers too, they do wear out over time but I always found them to be well worth it. Buys you a lot of time to build up more money.
Hope this helps anyone who reads it, the general strategy of the towers/traps works across most maps. Happy killing :)
