How to get the special dungeon weapons?

I'm up to sunset prison, I've never won a special weapon from any of the dungeons, done them many times trying to get one.

Nay advice?

"Special" grade weapons have a very low drop rate. Give or take it's about 0.1-1%. I take about 60-100 runs just to get the special grade drop. The Deadly Halloween dungeon took me 130 runs just for the weapon, and about 239 total for all.

You have to loot all other weapons, and only when the special grade one is left for that dungeon will it be available for grabs.

That's not true. I have occasionally gotten the Special rated item before earning some other rewards in dungeons.

I got it first run for one of them, so I suspect that it checks for the 'regular' items first, then rolls for the special one.

I have never failed to get one of the items on my first run, special or otherwise, so there might be something that guarantees a drop for that run.
