Endless Loading Screen

When I attempt to start episode 3 I get an endless loading screen. Has this happened to anyone else?

I got this problem also, I tried verifying it and launching in safe mode, doesn't seem to work. Also it won't let me close the game even from task manager.

Having the exact same problem too. I posted about this issue earlier and sent a message to customer service, but I haven't heard back yet.

I have the same problem too. This is bullsh*t, paying with my hard earned money and cant even play the fuc*ing game...

Have tried:
Verify game cache
Restart computer
Reinstall game

EDIT: Launching the game in "safe mode" makes the game crash in loading screen instead.

you guys did try to do the obvious, correct? get latest gpu drivers, install latest directx, grab latest windows updates, try playing the game without annoying antivirus software running in the bg and so on?

Yeah, but still, even if something was wrong, I wouldn't have been able to play Ep. 1 and 2 when they came out, and I was (that is, until Ep. 3 came out).

Yeah, I've tried all of that. Nothing worked.

not saying this state is okay, just trying to help guys out unable to play the game. after all, ep3 works for most without any issues, while some have gamebreaking trouble.

Same Problem here, Game crashed after the swimming Scene, after restarting i got the endless loading screen. Tried reinstall, newest Graphic drivers updates etc. Deleting the Save Game and Start a New Game worked only a few Times. Than got the same Problem there, no matter where i want to start the Game. Also i get no errormessage. Sry for bad english, not my native language :/

I turned off both Anti-Aliasing in options, worked for me

Strangely, when using the ep. 2 patch, the game works normally. But when not using the patch, I get the endless loading screen every time I try to play the game (be it episode 2 or 3)

Turning off AA didn't work for me. Customer service said they were looking into the issue so fingers crossed this will get sorted soon.
