Mouse can't move outside of a small area on screen

the first click drag thing on the photo my mouse is stuck within a small area around the circle and I cant accomplish the task. any one know a fix?

FIX:

Click and flick towards the text option to select it, this was very awkwardly explained and I think a better tooltip is in order.

I have the same problem ! We need some help here ! Barely start the game and found a problem like that ! Have I payd fully five chapters to stuck in the first task ? This is ridiculous !

turns out we're all dumb and the game uses a click and flick mechanic to select options. just click and drag towards the option you want. It was pretty awkwardly explained.

The arrow don't reach the crap of the foto , even changing the camera angle ! Barely leaves the circle that you must dragging the foto inside ! Anybody have sugestions to solve it ? I'm already tried change the mouse configuration , but nothing happened ! (T-T)

I am experiencing the same issue. I just downloaded the game and the first item (photo on desk) it is telling me to LOOK at is not working. My pointer only goes halfway to the picture.

Edit: As Vexton Hersteller said, it is click and flick. You need to look at the item you want to interact with, left click, quickly drag towards the item (flick) and then release mouse click (do not hold left click and drag up). They definitely made simple interaction a little too difficult.

Yes , I agree ! They should just say to click the word "Look" to "see the photo" ! But who write that text do not have said exactly this and you first reaction is clicking on the photo ! I,m now in dormitory and have no idea about how enter Dana's room ... ( I think that's the girl's name...)

Wow this is so incredibly poorly designed. Because there is an arrow there it makes sense to drag towards the picture and not towards the 'Look' option. This really should be changed or you will have people continue to get super frustrated at this first part of the game.
