Rewind Bug (Doesn't stop rewinding).

If I press LB to rewind to the last point, it just continues rewinding through as many rewind points as possible.

It has done it all the way through episode 4. It never used to do this for me.

I'm at a part now though where I only want to rewind back one section but it'll always rewind me as far as possible until the screen goes red and it hurts max.

I saw a similar thread where someone said it got their game stuck. But for me I can continue playing after it's rewound as far as it can go.

I've restarted my PC, the game, and verified my cache.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't continue currently!

I had this issue too, which made it almost impossible for me to complete a certain puzzle regarding a padlock. So for that puzzle I switched to keyboard/mouse.

LT will also rewind, it's just a little slower.

Ahh, I didn't realise LT would allow me to return to the game when I get to the point. I'll give that a try thanks :)

I tried with CTRL on the keyboard too but had the same issue as with the pad.

I think it's Spacebar that does the slow rewind on keyboard

Had the same bug, i just used the normal rewind (RMB/Shift+RMB) while using keyboard+mouse.

I had this happen in Ep. 3 once too, in the diner. There was no way out but to kill the game and load last restore point.

Here's how to access your save files:
The save files are located in users' 'Documents' folder.

- copy/paste %USERPROFILE%\Documents into the explorer address bar and from there, browse to .\My Games\Life Is Strange\Saves
Or
- Browse to C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Life Is Strange\Saves
The save file is LISSave<number>.sav and <number> is the number of the save slot used (1, 2 or 3).

I can confirm this happened to me on the PS4. Although I did manage to complete the episode. It was a bit annoying though.

Had the same issue all over episode 4.
I managed to play it to the end (I just never used control to rewind when i already have done more than 1 action) but its really stressy this way.

I managed one playthrough on day 1 as soon as the episode launched, but this bug popped up after the update today, making it impossible to solve the puzzle in the barn. PLS FIX THIS.

Hello, for now - avoid using the quick rewind and hold the rewind button down instead. This will allow you to pass the barn puzzle

I use a xbox 360 controller with my computer. It makes the photo focusing etc super easy. I've been playing that way (controller rather than keyboard/mouse) since I found the wound stitcing scene for Clementine in Walking Dead Season 2 annoying to do via the keyboard-mouse method.
