Game won´t start win 10 (64 bit)
Hi,

I bought the game with all episodes yeasterday but the game won´t launch. I tried
- reinstalling
- change the sounds settings (stereo, 5.1 etc..)
- change the language settings to english (united states)
- Reinstalling PhysX
- Updating direkt X
- Repair vcredist
- verifying the integrity in steam

I got a GTX 970 gpu
Windows 10 (64 bit) ... is 64 supported?

I get NO crash report. When I try to launch the game it tries for a few seconds and then nothing... I have never been able to start Life is strange.

This is of course frustating. I have no problem with other games.

What to do next?

I'm having the same issue trying to play Life is Strange For some reason, Life is Strange is not launching correctly for me. Every time I try to play it, it would start to load the game, and then for some reason ....... it stops and acts as I did nothing at all. The first few seconds Steam says that I'm playing Life is Strange but then it stops and goes back to Online. It doesn't even have a chance me the icon of the game on the bottom of the screen. I uninstalled and installed the game about 2 or 3 times but the problems keeps happening. I tried to the "Life is Strange pre-requisites" that I found in the Steam forums yet it didn't do anything (it may be because the instructions were confusing and I did it wrong). I bought all the episodes but its not working for me. Could anybody help me?

I also got Windows 10 (64 bit), and I also had some problems, but I was able to solve and now the game is running to me. So I think the problem is not the Win 10.

For me the game stopped before downloading the update, LIS started to open in steam and then appeared a message saying that there was a disk recording error. And I solved deleting a blank file (which had the game's name) in the "common" in "SteamApps" folder. And after that finished downloading totally I did the verifying again and downloaded the missing files that, and then it worked.

I can´t find such file. I have been in a mail conversation with support and tried all sorts of stuff they told me. Finally my computor went to bios and I made a very dire mistake; I flashed the bios with wrong file. After that my computer refused to start. Even after I tried reset the cmos several times. Today I went to the store and bought a new motherboard, a new cpu and a new chassi (what the heck... new chassi is kinda cheap). The game still won´t start.

I tried that and the previous solution in the thread and neither worked.

I bought this game yesterday as well. It worked fine for several hours. Then all of a sudden the game will no longer let me even get into the main title screen. If give me virtual memory errors.

I have windows 10. Page file is set to 18654 I have even gone as high as 24/32 and that has not helped.

WIndows 10 Home 64 bit
Dual AMD HD8970 M 4 GB cards
1 TB hard drive with over 700 GB free
Intel Core I7-4810MQ 2.8 Ghz processer

I have done the following:

Set page file manually to 18654
Uninstalled and reinstalled Game
Uninstalled and Reinstalled OS
Uninstalled and Re-installed Steam
Updated to latest AMD drivers
Installed game on a secondary 20 GB hardrive as well as a 2 TB hardrive
Ran in safe mode
Disabled all Firewall and antivirus software
Reinstalled as admin DirectX, VC and Physx

Noithing has worked. I am just unable to play this game at all. The event error log shows the same error over and over when the game crashes:
