Bad Image/ Game won't launch or open fix

If you are like me and the trying to launch the game through steam library won't even open a client nor show an error message, try to open the .exe by navigating to the game folder Steam ->Steamapps > common > Life is Strange > Binaries > Win32, where you will find LifeisStrange.exe. Trying to open it gave me this error message:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3dx11_43.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.

After following this thread to redownload a lot of the CommonRedist files (which didnt fix the issue for me but might for others) https://steamcommunity.com/app/319630/discussions/0/3818536354791203467/
I was able to get the game to work by downloading the d3dx11_43.dll file separately and then drop it into the same game folder where the .exe is found (the folder in the first paragraph.) I used this site to get the file and be careful of ads and fake download buttons

You will need to extract the compressed folder you just downloaded before placing it in the Win32 folder
