"Rendering Thread Exception....I/O failure operating on...."

The game has crashed twice since I've played it...once when I began episode 3 right after the dontnod logo, and the second time during episode 4. This is becoming really frustrating, as I have tried taking advice from the technical support threads: reinstalling the game, verifying the integrity of the game files, deleting the Life Is Strange Folder, etc. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue:

I/O failure operating on .....(folder files)
Address= 0x76d3db52 (filename not found) [inC:\\WINDOWS\\system 32\KERNALBASE.dll]
the list goes on and on with the same general format:

Address = [insert letters and numbers...... file name not found]
Address = [insert letters and numbers...... file name not found]
Address = [insert letters and numbers...... file name not found]

My laptop is not a "gaming laptop" so I may just be making a fool of myself. It is a Dell Inspiron i78550 U CPU with 1.80 gHz and16GB of RAM if that means anything.

I know its been 4 years but the I/O failure operating on .....(folder files) just throw the (folder file) into the recycle bin don't delete it because that's what I did and it worked for me
