Whilst we do not officially support other languages in the game, we have created a way to allow gamers to create their own localised versions, and not have them overwritten on any updates we release. This was enabled in Build 282548 (current build as of 18th March 2015)
Note: This is done entirely at users risk. However worse case you can just uninstall/reinstall the game to get back files to original state
Browse to <steamapps>\common\Life Is Strange\LifeIsStrangeGame\Localization folder.
Will contain a FRA and INT folder
INT – English language files
FRA – French language files
Make a copy of the language folder you want to edit.
Press “Control C” and then “Control V” on the INT folder for example, this will create an `INT – copy` folder.
Rename this to your new language, eg “ITA” (note it MUST only be 3 letters)
Browse into your new folder. Note the file extensions are all .INT (or .FRA if you copied the FRA folder). You need to rename the files in your new folder to MATCH the new folder name
eg HUD.INT or HUD.FRA must be renamed to HUD.ITA (as per my example new language name above)
Make sure ALL files in the folder are renamed to match your new folder name
Edit the files to localise into your chosen language. Use Notepad or any text editor. Note formatting is important so try to keep integrity of the file layouts.
Once finished go to your steam client. Within properties for the game go to `General` tab and then select `Set Launch options`..
Type
-Language=ITA
or whatever you chose as your 3 letter name.
Click Close
Start game. If successfully followed instructions you should find your new localised game launch.
Note – We cannot endorse any fan made localised text mods.
As new episodes are released new text files will be added to the original INT/FRA folders, so you may need to copy the new files into your new folder to localise the newer episodes.
Enjoy.
Segui il link su facebook - l'installer e abbastanza semplice ( apri e installa ) da usare ma occhio perchè se installi la traduzione per ep 1/2 quando uscirà ep 3 dovrai rimuoverla altrimenti avrai casini con i testi
