This is just in my play though it could be different for others.

This was also my impression, the only feelings I was seeing from Max to Chloe was their past friendship, nothing more. Chloe seemed to think that she and Rachel were more than friends, but Rachel was seeing Frank behind her back, so I guess Rachel didn't feel quite the same way that Chloe did. Chloe just seems a bit too desperate, maybe she really needs a friend.
Not exactly, it depends on your playthrough choices, if you go full on pro-chloe and nothing for warren, then it hints at max being into chloe and scared that she can't possibly compete with rachel.
Besides, its widly known that there is a romance possiblity with either Warren or Chloe, based on our choices.
I got that too.
Also, in certain circumstances, if you kiss her, get dressed and talk to her before going downstairs she says "You better not rewind and take that kiss back. You know I'm hotter than those Seattle art-holes, right?"
I get those 2 statements as jokes from someone who's experienced men and tries to be protective towards a friend. Nothing beyond that.
