Could someone explain why this was the ending for Chloe at Ep3? [Spoilers]
My question is: why the ending was like that to the character? Am I missed some important info/part of the past Episodes that would led Chloe in a wheelchair? I heard people saying something about "funding stuff/thing" that I can not understand.

If someone could please explain me on detail and which episode I could re-watch again to catch up the storyline again and understand why she ends like that, I would appreciate it!

Cheers!

Noone can for sure, onl one thing is confirmed: she broke her neck due to butterfly effect. MAYBE in car accident, MAYBE not in a car accident.

You didn't miss anything. Chloe ended up in a wheelchair because William lived all thanks to Max's interference.

William lives: something happens to Chloe. (People speculate that Chloe got into a car accident because there's a picture of a red truck behind her while she holds a set of keys.)

William dies: Chloe becomes depressed and changes into the Chloe we're familiar with.

Oh correct! The money from Principal office. Thanks!

Is that "possible" car accident in her dad's car or while driving on her truck (maybe not the same truck, since could be different)

Think about it carefully. William drove the car and died. When that happened, they got rid of his car cuz it was trashed in the accident. You stole and hid the keys, making it imposable for William to die. Because he didn't die, the car was never trashed. And what kind of gift do parents usually give their kids as a graduation gift for passing high school? Think...

Good call, almost the same consequence for the driver, that in this time, was Chloe, not her dad. Thanks for the reply!

Everyone says it's a car accident... Yeah actually it probably is what happened, but you never know. The 'old' Chloe had a smooth movement and err.. grace? about her? I dunno if you would call it that, but definitely not a clumsy person, but who knows, maybe the 'new' Chloe ended up being clumsy as the result of something else and ended up falling down the stairs (maybe she was thrown down the stairs at some point?) Just trying to stir the pot. It's pretty obvious..

In addition to the graduation present car that may have caused Chloe's accident, there was foreshadowing that Chloe would become disabled. In Episode 1, she double parks across both handicapped spots at Blackwell ,and she has several parking tickets for doing so. In Episode 3, she is very willing to steal from Blackwell's "handicapped fund," without any regard for possible consequences to her actions. Outside of the alternate timeline, Chloe doesn't seem to care about the disabled and their well being or ability to access the world, demonstrating a casual ableism. This is why some people have called her confinement to a wheelchair Laser Guided Karma, though that seems a bit reductive and crass to me. It's showing how Max's powers can actively harm the people she cares about, even when she tries to help them. Calling her confinement to a wheelchair "karma" ignores that.

Unlucky in every timeline.

Two options:
a) Karma for wanting to take the money for the handicapped fund
b) Car accident, when Chloe got her Red Car.

I don't think we ever got to know what exactly happened in that accident. You people seem to assume that driving that red car alone would mean having a fatal accident with it. But that needn't be the case. I don't think there is a need for any great explanation as to what happened to Chloe in that timeline. She is obviously a tool meant to show Max what Karma ♥♥♥♥♥ can do and with this in mind it doesn't matter what exactly happened to her.

Excellent point and view! All those traffic tickets would led to this in another end too. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this topic too friend! It's more clear to me what karma can do on both ends: her dad been killed or she been chosen for this end. Cheers!

Is there some kind of way to have her not handicapped or no?

No as it is mandated by the plot.
