{Theory} David and Rachel Amber?

It sounds weird, it really does! But hear me out.


I don't have much evidence to back it up, but the evidence I do have should hopefully make sense to you.

I think that Rachel Amber is somehow associated with David Madson. It sounds odd at first, but here is the main evidence -

In the letter, it reads ~

"I met somebody recently who's so different from the lame Vortex Club snobs. I know you'll have a meltdown when I tell you and think he's gross but I SWEAR he's wise and unconventional. Kind of scary, but not in a 'bad boy' way. He went through some serious ♥♥♥♥. Yes, I'm kinds obbsessed. I won't blame you for freaking."

I'm not sure if this is the case for anyone else, but this paragraph reminds me of David.

Now, many think that Rachel and Jefferson were connected , but I think it might have been David.
1. It would explain her hesitance to tell Chloe, considering that David is Chloe's step fsther, and because she has a hatred for David. This is why she says 'I know you'll have a meltdown when I tell you and think he's gross'. Rachel also says 'gross' as David being with Rachel would give off the reputation of pedophilia. Why? David is obviously much older than Rachel.
2. 'Kind of scary, but not in a 'bad boy' way.' Kate, Max, and Chloe all think that David is scary. Seeming that Rachel does too, but she can look past that to see David's true side, maybe the side Joyce is able to see.
3. 'He went through some serious ♥♥♥♥' implies the wars David went through as a soilder.

Another piece of evidence~

When you arrive at Two Whales Diner, you can go around the back of the diner and speak with a homeless woman. Of course you get the choice to speak and lead consversation, and one of the choices are about Rachel Amber. The homeless lady mentions (something like) 'I saw her being with a man much older than her'. This coukd imply anyone, but with some other evidence together, maybe this is David?
(Though the fact you can talk about David acknowledges she knows about him, so surely she would say the man was David. That is one flaw)

And lastly, when you do 'some wondering' before Jefferson's class in Episode 2, David calls to you and depending on what choices you made he will talk about different things. Though Max suggets that David knows something about Rachel Amber that nobody else does. Back in Chloe's house whilst you're looking for the tools, if you look through the files you can see pictures of Kate Marsh with one if then saying 'she knows something!'
Maybe David knows something that Rachel told her, maybe something about her leaving. Maybe Kate Marsh also knows something about Rachel Amber, but not about her leaving.

Yet again I suck at explaining things but if you get where I'm coming from, tell Meh.

(This doesn't mean I want this to be true. After all it's just a theory, a GAME THEORYY)
