I can't say I understand her behaviour. But then again, I've never been in a position to lose one long time friend, then gain another and then also lose THEM years later, and then get my first best friend back. So she could just be scared of Max pulling away or something. But I think she seems "genuinely unstable", as Max would say... That's just my opinion, though.
But I'm glad Max is at least standing up to her in a way, by telling Chloe that she can't just keep getting mad at her all the time over stupid ♥♥♥♥ (ep2). And I hope we get to see some serious character development over the next 3 episodes, which I cannot wait to play!
may be more than you should.
But if you feel content, you might just stand up and tell your friend what is okay and what not.
Here in this story, death is "iminent" several times and this could make you even more forgiving.
But i don´t expect her life getting calmer and less threatening any time soon.
Anyways... i think we've all had friends like chloe.. people who we don't want to lose but who we can barely stand beind around after awhile... tolerable in small doses. However, if Chloe was anything like this before Max left, it's no wonder she didn't bother to try contacting her the entire time she was gone
As for why Chloe didn't try to contact Max? It's pretty obvious what kind of a manipulative personality Chloe has, and in this case, basically Max no longer had anything of USE to her (the emotional payment she receives from Max by dragging her along and guilting her into doing things she doesn't want to do)
Max was no longer in a position to provide Chloe with anything she wanted, so Chloe didn't bother to contact her either
On one hand, Chloe's character and personality makes it hard to care about what happens to her so far, considering who we, the player, are in control of. On the other hand, the fact that the writers could conjure up a character that makes me actively dislike her and want to talk about her seems to paradoxically indicate a damn good character
Peoples like them are self destructing, you can't help, they can only drag you down.
And so i am not a big fan of Chloe.
David is the onlyone who can save Chloe, by dying because of her..
You may now begin.
I want Rachel alive. And after that they found her, she and Max give a big hug on Chloe. I want those 2 to replace the hole of Chloe with trust and love. I don't want betrayal for anyone. I don't want Chloe to die beacuse of a f@cking tornado and for a stup!d town. As antagonist, that be interesting. I agree. But I don't want bad results after that. Chloe is alone, she afraid, she is sad. She can't trust anyone 100% even Max. I think she hide something for her reasons. I want to see a clear truth and not injustice. End, look what I found:
Chloe Price = CP -> Corrupted Person = CP | What?! O_O
The problem is they are both guilty of that though. Chloe also made no effort to contact Max either.
The only time i went through with helping her on my file was choosing to try to shoot frank.
That hasnt come back to bite me just yet but i know it will like every other choice with her.
Chloe is a good friend thats just been absorbed by a town thats gone to ♥♥♥♥ in the years youve been away.
Right now Max still sees the town for what it was when she previously lived there.
But Chloe sees it for what its turned into over the years.
People seem to think Chloe was like this throughout their entire friendship. This is false. Chloe was a completely different person before Max left. It was after Chloe's father died did she go through this transformation. No one knows why Max never attempted to contact Chloe after she moved to Seattle. And since the subject was dropped rather quickly - I doubt we'll ever really know.
