How to download ? :/

If you're using Chrome, you should be able to do it by Right-clicking the playback and select "Save"

For iOS, it depends on the version of the system. I have an iPhone 4S, and for me this works (Please understand that I premise basic knowledge of file browsing and windows functions like enabling the showing of file extensions. Also, my iPhone is not jailbroken or rooted in any way. All this can be achieved with built-in factory processes):

Copy the files into iTunes and convert it to AAC (File ext. is "m4a"). Go to the Conversion folder (Somewhere around C:\Users\<username>\My Music\iTunes) and search for the file. You could also right click on the converted file in iTunes and go to the Windows explorer from there) and rename the file from .m4a to .m4r. Then copy the m4r file to iTunes as well. Now, when you go to the synching dialogue of iTunes, you can choose this ringtone just like any other to copy to your phone.

on your phone, just go to the ringtones and choose your message tone which you just uploaded to your phone.

P.S. sadly, don't have an iPhone USB cable right now, would totally change it on the spot....but I have to wait till this afternoon (about 8 hours till I can go home (It's 8.30 a.m. in Germany)).

Thank you for this! Although I'm still having trouble if anyone may be able to help me out. I have an iPhone 6. I did all the steps above. Sync my phone and everything but when I go to change my textone it's not popping up as an option so I can change it. I checked to see if I got the sound on my phone and I went to the music app and it is there on my phone, but again it won't let me change the textone. My phone won't actually change my ringtone or texttone to anything but the options given that are already defaults with the phone or I can go to the iTunes store but then I can only selected music that I have purchased off of iTunes.

Did I mess something up while trying to get this as a texttone? Does anyone else have an iPhone 6 and can help me?

If it shows up under music then that is probably the m4a version. If you have correctly added the m4r to itunes, then it should show up under tones which looks like a bell, next to apps on the top left.

Then connect your phone, and click the phone icon that appears on the top left. Now on the left side of itunes will different settings sections. Again click on tones under this and you should have the options for your tones where you can make sure it's set to sync and whether you want all or specific tones synced.

Thanks this works! But only one question/problem i have.
When i doing this i'm not allowed anymore to put music on my iOS device as well. I'm may only choose between Ringtones or Music but not both. Any idea why?
