But, as of now, I think (Episode 3 will be the thing that will confirm/deny all of my suspicions) that consequences in THIS game ARE real, I did two playthroughs to check and I'm at two completely different outcomes of EP2 as of now, a thing that's imposibru (at least now) in TTG.
But, as I said, episode 3 will be the thing that will show if the consequences ARE or AREN'T real.
There are many things to interact with, from posters to cigarette butts ;D, when TTG set all of the games (rest in peace twd season 1) to rather action than exploration.
By exploring, you can discover minor choices you can make. WATER THE PLANT OR NOT?!
I hope that opinion will help you ;)
And don't tell me Telltales games have been released before, life is strange can manipulate time so what was before could be after, you never know..
Life is strange with this game.
i agree, you are a real comedian.
Why? Because concept of these games is too basic and simple.
Also visual novels did it first, just not in 3d.
VNs didn't do it first. Both VNs and Adventure games developed independently of each other. No 'copying' of one's ideas with the other.
I think thats the number one thing.
Second thing is, they don't take 3-4 months for each EP. I recall waiting 4 months for the Wolf Among Us EP2. They intentionally ignored the fan base when they requested any inforation about it.
Seriously, who wants to wait all year or 3-4 months for Each an hour or two hour EP. Your paying them for content that's not done, its going to take a year to complete.
They also ride on other peoples storys. They just copy and paste. Like Walking Dead, Wolf Among us. Those were stories created by other people. They just extended on that. Where Life is Strange is its own game.
Finally they don't take fanbase for granted. I cannot tell you how rude and power abuse the mods are on TT. If you don't like it. There's no one to complain to. TT has horrible customer service not even a phone number. Just an email for feedback and questions about your game.
Hands down Life is Strange wins. If only they had this company a year ago. Maybe TT would work harder on their content.
I think thats the number one thing.
Actually that's only one thing and so far only one character. So far it's far too early to claim that the choices have an actual impact on the story with only two episodes.
Only two episodes far too early to tell if all the other episodes are going to be delivered in the same time frame.
Your also paying DontNod for content that is not done. But you've also taken the single example you're describing above and extended that to every other release regardless of it is the case.
Not exactly. Certainly their games are based on existing properties but also original stories set within those IP's. Quite a lot of people were generally unaware of the source material for Fables. How you're attempting to describe them sounds more similar to The Asylum who make cheap knock offs of mainstream films with very similar titles so that people will confuse them with the original.
Hands down DontNod wins because you're only picking certain elements to describe? That sounds just a little bit rigged.
