Games Similar to Life is Strange

For me its really hard to find games that have the same feel that Life is Strange has. Where you love the character, art style, plot, and other things. The game also leaves you thinking about it constantly. Games like Bioshock Infinite have this same feel. Amazing Characters, and a story that makes you think... a lot, but different play style, (shooter instead of decision things that Life is Strange has. I don't know what it's called) So far these are the only games that I have played that have this same feel and I can't really find others. Heavy Rain is PS3 Exclusive so no luck there. It would be great if anyone has any recomendations for me.

Longest Journey, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey & Dreamfall Chapters all 3 games... but the third one is just being released in Chapters as well... should first play the first 2...

look the titles up in the steam shop... Longest Journey, as well as Dreamfall: The Longest Journey... both fully released games worth playing. Then you have Dreamfall Chapters, which is being released in Episodes like Life is Strange also got 2 Episodes out at the moment. However I very much suggest you to first try the predecessors to Chapters.

Not the bigest fan of side scroler games but I may give it a try if I have extra $$$$$. I am more of a fan of teh 3rd person games like in Life is strange or 1st person like in Bioshock Infinite. But thanks for the suggestion I will take look.

I'll probably be the only one to suggest this, but the Mass Effect series is one of my favorites of all time. I fell in love with the characters, storyline, and settings. It is a shooter game, but the stories between characters and how the game would change depending on what you chose was what made it awesome.

Thankyou so much for your comments. and I realy want to get the entire Mass Effect series. I have heard nothing but good things about it. The walking dead seasons 1 and 2 are a bit too expinsive for me but they look realy good. Thanks :D

Republique is pretty solid too.
Wolf Among Us isnt ever mentioned enough in the TellTale world.
The new Game of Thrones is excellent if you like the series.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is probably the most emotionally effecting game I have ever played.
Gone Home is a very great experience, hard to call it a game exactly, but it was wonderful.

Games that makes you remember them long after you play them could include the following:

Grim Fandango (amazing world, characters and dialogue. Use a walkthrough)
Broken Sword 5 (you don't need to play the others)
Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons (short but super story and world)
Gone Home (controversial, but I love it to death. And yes, it's a game)

Mass Effect trilogy for me is top 2 best games ever!
Definetely the best I played on PC.

I liked Dear Esther more than Gone Home.

I like to add The Last of Us + Left Behind and Beyond: Two Souls for atmospheric storytelling purposes. Especially the Last of Us I can't leave alone. I keep on putting that game in my PS3 and recently it hasn't left my PS4 too.

There's something in the story of the Last of Us that makes it hard for me to walk away from it.

I used to be massively invested in Mass Effect with the first game. Then BioWare screwed it massively and ruined the entire series with the third game.
