That said, I believe PSN sells them 1 at a time, so if you have a console, you may try this option.
lol
But there is a different problem. Let's say so, if second part of Broken Age will be published, or srory mode of the Long Dark will be added, or Dream Machine will be finished... I will start to believe people again and will buy this game too (above mentioned examples are from different developers, but use the same model - publishing by episodes). Or, in other words, there are many devs who can count to two, but only few can count to three... and here we need somebody who can count to five (publish five episodes.)
I really like the plot of the game, but I don't want to spend my money on something, that is not finished yet, because, from my previous experiense, I cannot be sure, that it will be finished at all. I would prefer to buy one chapter after each other.
Especialy if that is what the customer wants.
Fyi consoles get episode 2 individually. It's obvious they planned on releasing individual episodes from the start. It's bugging me that all we've gotten is 1 tweet that equated to "no" and the dev on here seeming surprised and correcting themself after stating we could buy it individually. They've also tweeted in the past that you will be able to buy episodes individually as they're released.
Steam users are being intentionally given less options for SOME reason, and I'd like to know why.
They've put out 20+ responses to people on twitter asking when it will be available on ps4 because the store updates differently in each region, but they're not touching any Steam questions.
Because I don't want to pay the lump sum. The episodes come out months apart. I'd rather pay the £3.99 and wait for the next one. It's cheaper short term.
