The town Arcadia Bay does not exist but Oregon does have a beach called Arcadia. It's really beautiful. And some cities in Oregon look very much like Arcadia Bay in LiS. :) The devs did a great job in capturing the Oregon atmosphere.

Though real-life Oregon probably has places that match Arcadia Bay much more closely.
Tillamook Bay is the spitting image of Arcadia Bay, and is also in Oregon, plus the zip code is the same as a post card Rachel sends Chloe

If you actually look at the GPS coordinates from Life is Strange, they're all in Tillamook Bay.
By which I mean they're in the middle of the frigging bay! Like, they map out to underwater!
