Changing Chloe's phone background

*Note* this is NOT about trouble with focusing the photo at the end, it worked just fine for me.

What I wish to know is whether it's possible to unlock a different background on Chloe's phone in Episode 3. When you're back from raiding the principal's office and resting at Chloe's, you're able to search her room and look at her phone. On my playthrough it showed a pictur eof Chloe and Rachel with Max making a comment about her being unable to replace Rachel. On a forum I read that it's possible for the picture to contain Max and Chloe.
Has anyone been able to achieve this, or was it just a joke? If one did get this outcome, what choices did you make to get it?

I don't know which choices directly affect this, but yes, it is possible. My best friend achieved it.

Mine had it. I think you have to do a lot of pro Chloe stuff. Also have no idea what the requirements are, but I did take the heat for the weed, ignore Kate's call and try to shoot Frank. I didn't take the handicap money though.

Thanks for replying so fast guys and girls. I am not gonna ignore Kate's call but I can try to shoot Frank and see what happens (I have some weird priorities but at least Frank won't die).

Interesting, I didn't even realise it was possible to have a difference here, makes me wonder what other minor changes there are throughout the game. In my play through, Chloe's phone had a picture of Max on it. My choices have all been pro-Chloe.

I did all those things as well except that I did take Kates call. So that there might be the difference.

I have ignored Chloe's wishes many times. Chloe's phone had Max as a background.

First I watched other person play and she didnt make it,so I didn't know there's this alternative.And when I played,I made it.It's so sweet I almost died <3
I don't know which choice trigger it.My choice is hide the truth,come out to intervene,answer kate's call,shoot frank,steal the money.I guess my approval is high enough

phew, so ignoring Kate's call is not necessary, so you can kill two birds with one stone: Save Kate AND have the new wallpaper :)

Hmmm...I wonder what the influencing factor here is then?.
I didn't even realise you could make the change, my game had Rachel on the phone. I answered Kates call and didn't steal the money...maybe that tipped me over into the negative side?

Interesting, cool that things like this are scattered into the game.

It's possible to save Kate even if you don't answer her phone. At least that's what I did on one of my save files, and I was still able to save her.
I don't know whether there is a combination of choices where you can't save her. I only observed that it's harder to save with each choice you don't make in her favour.

This game is so interesting, the choice system is really great. I love it.

That said, I have two save files that I've played through to the end of Episode 3. Here are the differences:

Save File 1
- Did not take blame for the pot
- Did not answer Kate's call in the diner
- Tried to shoot Frank
- Saved Kate anyway
- Let Chloe steal the money
- Chloe's phone has Max instead of Rachel.

Save File 2
- Took blame for the pot
- Answered Kate's call in the diner
- Tried to shoot Frank (yes both saves, screw him lmao)
- Could not save Kate
- Did not let Chloe steal the money
- Chloe's phone has Rachel instead of Max.

I suspect some combination of choices in dialogue from the pool scene and maybe even the morning after might have some effect on the phone's background as well?

I wrote that maybe, took blame for Chloe`s weed, took money, ahhh, what else, didn`t answer Kate`s phone call, tried to shoot Frank. Max`s photo on background.
