Ep 3 - Help? Stuck outside principals office

Chloe and Max just got into the school at night and Chloe is picking the lock. Nothing shows up to click on or look at, I just walk around the room - nothing. Can't leave, can't talk to Chloe, and there's nothing to select - a dead end. I restarted from the last checkpoint but it didn't help. The same thing happens if I walk around the school first - nothing shows up to click on or look at.

After talking to Chloe near the door when she finds out the keys won't open it look around at things in the room after looking in a few places there will be a cutscene with Max calling Warren who will tell Max how to make a pipe bomb which will lead to having to search round the school for the ingredients. If you can't look at anything around the room with the door to the principal's office then it may be a bug but I never had that happen to me.

I think it's a bug. I restarted the entire game and I have the same problem getting out of Max's room.
