Max
1. - stays in place when reversing time (principal's locked office), and
2. - keeps all the stuff she picked up (RV keys).
These are just two absolutely inconsistent elements that i just don't get used to.
It more or less means Max's time travel will appear to be teleportation to an outside observer.
And the reversing time while in "that room" is just going along with how it works already. Just never had a chance to do it that way. I think that was awesome. It really keeps the reverse time mechanic fresh.
And the powers developing from a mechanical point I REALLY enjoy. It doesn't get stale. [photo the best example right now.]
It's one of the reasons I've in my play throughs so far I've picked to petition against the security cameras. It's my thought that the worry of those cameras isn't that they'll catch you breaking into some office or something, but suddenly being in an office and opening the door from the inside. After we get the last two chapters I might go see if my worry is actually valid but for now that's one choice I'm being fairly consistant on.
But you wouldn't even need cameras for this to be recognized by other people. Whenever rewinding time back to a point from whereon she has changed her position in the meantime, any eyewitness would notice her younger self disappear from her old position in the time she travels back to. And at the same moment she might be watched while popping up at the new spot which she had moved to before rewinding.
She even might materialize WITHIN another being/object, sharing the same space, that was located at that very spot before she moved back!
Maybe that's what happened to Rachel!?
