Rachel Amber's clothes (minor spoilers from Episode 3)

When Max puts on Rachel's clothes that Chloe has kept to me they look more like something Chloe would wear than Rachel at least from what people have told us about her(For instance she wanted to be a model and Chloe even mentioned that they were very different)

Maybe different in personality, but similar in style? I'm surprised that so many people confused Max for Rachel just because of a change of clothes though. Maybe that's why Rachel loved the camper guy, he was the only one who saw past her exterior.

From what I've seen of pictures of them they don't look that similar so I'm not sure why anyone would mistake her for Rachel. Plus I'm quite sure people would be more surprised to see someone who's been missing for a long time but they just call her Rachel when they first see her as if they mistook her for Rachel and they're rather casual in the way they say it as if she hadn't been missing at all. If they really mistook her for Rachel at first you'd think they'd be more shocked at thinking Rachel is there.

Assuming they indeed were once worn by Rachel
and assuming she indeed had the same powers that max had, maybe that energy still lingers in the clothes. I know, this is a bit far fetched, but think of this: In ghost hunting, it is common belief that energies can attach to objects, thus making them "haunted". Same with these clothes. If Rachel wore them (regularly?), maybe a bit of her power is still attached to them, and then exponentiate Max' powers, making it possible to reach further back into the past....just my thoughts about this.

That is an interesting theory. It would explain why Max was seemingly suddenly able to jump to an anchor that far back in time.
