I get that, but I was wondering what model, and possibly the price of camera and film.

It should have some kind of brand on it. But it's obviously a polaroid.

I can assure you, they are pretty cheap nowadays. The cheapest I could find online was 20$.
The model, I'm not quite sure.

How much is film though? Is that hard to come by?

Oh sorry, I didn't know which item you were pricing.

they stop making original film for polaroid cameras, so now it's a free for all on ebay for the original film, which can be pretty costly. $20 for 8-10 pics. You can also purchase "Impossible Project Film" online, which are trying to keep the polaroid cam pics alive.
I have Polaroid Sun660, it still works, eventhough its ancient, takes 600 type film.

Max's camera looks a lot like a Polaroid One-Step or a Cool Cam 600.

(It's not exactly the same, though.)

I'm less sure about the second camera (from Chloe's dad). Maybe based on the Polaroid Spectra?

It doesn't seem to fold down like this does, though.

I don't think it's any specific model, but iti s definitely based on the fold out Polaroid Instants

Paper is available from approx. €14 - €25 for 10 pieces. Fujifilm still produces them, Polaroid has one (real) model in production and two digital versions with builtin printer (...) - accordign to wikipedia. Thanks for asking.

Wow, that's rather expensive in my opinion for paper, but thanks for all the research!

Polaroid went out of the film business in 2008 and the only real player left in the instant film market is Fujifilm. The Impossible Project still manufactures film for Polaroid cameras, I think.

You might want to try the Fujifilm Instax series cameras. The Instax 200 or the current 210. Also popular is the Instax Mini 7s/8. Fuji Instax film is superior over Polaroid, in my opinion, You had to be right on exposure with Polaroid otherwise the colors were off. Instax has better exposure latitude and behaves more like regular film so the prints still retain color accuracy even if the exposure is off, albeit lighter or darker according to the exposure. Before everything went digital, I used to use the professional series film, Fuji FP-100. Instax was derived from this.

Any instant film is expensive. This is where the money is made, as the cameras are relatively cheap. I think with the Fuji Instax Mini, it will cost you about a dollar a shot.
