i mean she lost her best friends and her dad and has to live with her step"dad" who isnt really gud at being understanding or anything like that
but she still has a good heart she even said that kate is cool not like most of the other sudents at blackwell so i think she didnt change that much at the end
i liked her tbh c:
She's obviously willing to ♥♥♥♥ up Max's live just to avoid a lil trouble with her step-douche, though she already hates him and it can't get any worse. When you need to get rid of a pile of crap you don't dump it in the ballroom but the dunghill. Someone will obviously get that wrong because it's very harsh and graphic.
But I agree, she really rubbed me the wrong way at first, despite her getting some of the best pithy lines in the episode. But by giving Max grief about being far away and not even trying to keep their friendship alive long-distance, she's saying, "You hurt me and I missed you."
At the end of the episode however, she seemed genuinely concerned and caring when faced with what she can only assume is Max starting to lose her marbles.
she seem like the kind of person who dig herself into a hole but realizes it to late. mabey we will see her change. assuming she lives throue the story.... i have a feeling finding rachel will help (unless we find her dead body)
I want to express my throughts as to why Chloe is the way she is and why she's acting the way she is. This is not to change your mind about her. I don't care about that. I just want to give you a different perspective.
- Understand that Chloe and Max were BEST FRIENDS since childhood. They have a huge history that we only catch quick glimpses of by interacting with certain objects in Chloe's house. (The wine stain, the sofa, Chloe's wardrobe, etc.) It's no surprise Chloe felt "abandoned" when Max, her best friend, just ups and vanishes without saying anything. Never attempting contact. Not even once. For 5 years. And as far as we the players know, Chloe had no way of getting a hold of Max. Max did not leave behind any contact information. (If wrong please correct me on that.) Now, was Chloe being a little harsh on Max? Maybe. But Chloe deserves to know why Max just vanished without a trace. So I find Chloe's "pushing" for answers justified. I felt sad for both Chloe and Max during the truck ride. Max obviously felt awful for not contacting Chloe. And Chloe was visibly upset and hurt by Max's answers. It was an awkward reunion but I believe the two sort of reconciled before episode one ended.
- I saw that scene in a YouTube video. I felt bad for Max. Chloe had no right to put her in such a difficult spot. I also found it odd, so I started thinking why Chloe would do such a thing to her ex-best friend, the same day they reunite. It seemed to me like Chloe was testing Max. She was trying to find out if Max would take the fall for her. Why? Hard for me to say. Maybe because Chloe feels really alone right now. She lost her father, Max, and then Rachel. Having to deal with the crazy step-dad doesn't make things any easier. I think Chloe just wanted to see if there was anyone left that cared about her (besides her mom maybe). It was easy for Chloe to throw Max under the bus like that because she probably feels Max had nothing to lose, and probably assumed Max wouldn't have to deal with any repercussions. I'm not saying what Chloe did here is right. I'm just trying to understand why she did it.
- Her room's a mess. Yep. lol And her tank top is a little dirty. :P (Though, personally, I love her style. It's very much like mine.) And she has undoubtedly made bad life decisions. She's going to make more. lol But I think most teens who lose a parent, bff, etc, at the same time, would make bad decisions too, especially if they go at it alone. This "new" Chloe is the result of little to no emotional support during a very difficult time, imo. :/
Anyway, this post is long enough!! That's what I think on the subject. Since we're only one episode in, things are bound to change!
I hope you still enjoy episode 2! :)
- She acts like a total snitch: If you don't hide from her dad she actually blames the joint on you, and if you don't come out of the closet she blames you for not backing her up. If i remember correctly she even plays down the fact that Sgt. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stomped and threatened Max for something Chloe did, by calling it an "epic win" and stuff like that.
She did in fact say
Chloe: Thanks for takeing the heat.
