The IMPORTANCE of PYRAMID EYE Graffiti! Food 4 Thought!

Hey everyone. So I know a bunch of people already mentioned this... but seriously, it is quite interesting. I hope Mr. Pyramid Eye serves a purpose to the story somehow later on; If not it would be rather annoying. Is it just an elaborate easter egg by the developers, the Illuminati, or something more deep that serves a purpose to the game story? Here's what I've learned while playing the game.

(Note: The Pyramid Eye, is an image of a Pyramid with an eye at the top that is "sparkling")

It FIRST appears in the bathroom as "grafitti".

The SECOND time I saw it was in the parking lot, on the sign next to the steps. That's random.

THIRD, we see it in Chloe's car. But the funny thing about that is, if you go to Chloe's truck in the parking lot before talking to Warren, the symbol IS NOT there. Therefore, it isn't something that Chloe has been drawing, but something the game developers want us to see/put there on purpose. It isn't supposed to be part of Chloe's car decal.

The FOURTH time is in Chloe's bedroom, on the wall.

The only other explanation besides "illuminati confirmed" :P is that it means something to the story and we will find out in future episodes, but if not, then that means the developers put it there on purpose for no reason whatsoever. And let me tell you, no one does anything for no reason. It pops up to much, to not be important.

Conclusion is that, the pyramid isn't random graffiiti that Chloe has been spraying. We know this because, as I mentioned above, the graffiti isn't there when you look inside Chloe's truck in the parking lot, but only appears in the cutscene later on for the gamer to see. If the pyramid was meant to be random graffiiti by Chloe, we would be able to see the pyramid in the truck in the parking lot as part of Chloe's car decal.

Please no flame wars or mentioning of the existance of the Illuminati, history of free masons, blah blah blah. I wrote this to get us thinking about why the developers decided to make this specific creative decision. Thanks guys. I really enjoyed episode 1. Can't wait for episode 2 in March!

So what do you guys think? There are probably more that I simply didn't catch that are hidden throughout. I only found the ones I did because I was bored and wandered everywhere.

Square Enix really needs to do a better job of hiding their Illuminatiness :P. Prove us wrong by making it relevant to the story.

P.S. - To the people who are confused about how the Illuminati and the Pyramid Eye are related, it is said that the pyramid along with the "all seeing eye" are the symbols of the so called "Illuminati".

The pyramid appears three times... the symbol has three sides.... what else has three sides... the Illuminati... TEAM FORTRESS 3 CONFIRMED



I actually didn't notice the second two appearances of the symbol so I don't actually have anything to contribute :P Very nice catch though!

Cool. I never noticed half of those. There are probably more that are hidden! We will probably see more of em in Episode 2. Also. Half life 3 confirmed is probably the main reason for the pyramids. Just Sayin. :P

I would say that you're the reason why marketing makes millions. Whatever attracts your attention to the product is great from this standpoint.

Second point, there isn't any reason to accustom anyone to your super secret symbol, why the hell would you do that? Diversion? Well, then I would made something up to actually diverse the attention from my real conspiracy, like you know some triangle and stuff since human mind just loves recognizing patterns. Think this might work quite well, looking at you.

But why would I do that, why not just get one more click from you on Katy Perry's new video.

Now, all joking aside, the signs show up too often in my opinion to be just simple easter eggs, so they might be connected to the Vortex Club, seeing as it's hinted as being something more than just an elitist club for rich kids. But then why would they be in Chloe's car or room? We'll have to wait and see I guess.

This, or Dontnod is part of Illuminati, who have such swagger that they show their logos everywhere, because WHATEVA, WE ARE ILLUMINATI AND WE DO WHAT WE WANT.

I'm definitely getting "secret society" vibes from those graffiti.Also the grafitti on the shack behind the light house.It's all so mysterious.I'm not saying it's Illuminati or some other secret society from our world,but I could very well see a secret society consisting of infuental town people,like the Principal,Nathan's parents etc. And this society could very well be behind the tornado or Rachel's disappearance.Of course we already have The Vortex Club,which is a pretty noticeable reference to the tornado.But I don't know why they'd use the pyramid symbol when their logo is already found a lot through the game.So that's why I'm going for the 2 secret societies idea. :P

As for the illuminati symbols, I viewed those as something done by the highschool students. The pickup thing could just be an oversight. It's likely to be a red herring with zero impact on the story.

Lol. I don't think it's dontnod (too small) being Illuminati but Square Enix, since the publishers control developers and can tell them what they want. haha. But yea. Nice point about the Vortex club. We don't know anything about them yet.

There is another pyramid graffiti sign on the shack back of lighthouse? Or are you talking about a different graffiti? I didn't explore over there. ^_^
