Max has him solidly friend-zoned.
Max spends a lot of time thinking about how pretty Chloe and Rachel are.
But, Max also likes skater-boys a lot.
So who knows.
But in the end, Max is probably an hetero.
Apparently there is still a lot of discrimination that goes on, especially by gay men towards lesbians and of course both discriminate against bisexuals and transsexuals.
I think people just generally dislike anyone different than themselves.
I'm not gay so I can't say for certain, but think of it this way. Women can relate to women, ungay men can enjoy looking at women, but why would a gay man enjoy a story about gay women? Save for the obvious parallels.
It's not necesarily a matter of acceptance. I don't have any problem with homsexuals, but I don't often (ever) read novels about gay men.
You can't really say that they will never get together cause they are more like sisters or purely best friends, i have known alot of people that have been best friends and have gotten together, some worked and they are still happily married and some just don't work.
Overall, it happens, but i don't think romance should be forced and it shouldn't be limited to just warren, i think it should be possible to choose chloe or warren, assuming you choose to romance anyone at all...that is the best option to go with.
And according to me Warren he's friendzoned and Max tells 2-3 times that an other girl (I forget her name) should be with him.
But like Jamie I hope that we will have choice if there is a romance but I don't think there will be one or it will not be explicit, Dontnod doesn't seems to be a Studio making love story or sexual contents as soft as they could be.
So Max's attitude towards Warren ranges from being unaware of his interests to being open to him. But then again, why on earth does Max owe Warren a relationship? Does sharing a usb stick with movie on it guarantee some sort of relationship? Women aren't vending machines.
Well, i don't think it will be the focus of the game's story, just a side thing to make it feel more real, i mean you could have 2 friends, one might want more, while the other isn't interested for whatever reason, maybe cause they just don't see them that way, but sometimes and dramatic experience can change your perception on possible relationships.
I have met alot of women that have looked majorly hot, such hotness that would cause car crashes, but once you get to know them, they are stuck up, arrogant and is an outright bi*ch and then there is this other woman that is plain looking, nothing sexy about them and their personality, their attitude and interests make them more beautiful then the first woman....it happens.
In the end, only time will tell, but i really do wish that there is a choice of romances, warren or chloe and it will likely be something at the end of the game, that could give it a good send off, even if its a kiss and a nice little monologue type of thing, like some movies or shows have at the end of it, saying how things turned out...you know what i mean?
I agree, we are just saying, he is into max and is trying his best to express it as best as he can, she either notices it and just doesn't know how to deal with it or is totally clueless.
