Episode 1 Discussion thread (SPOILERS WARNING)

Thought I would make this thread as a sorta official unofficial thread for people to discuss the first episode and share their experiences and thoughts.

Just finished episode 1 and imo it's pretty good so far. Looking forward to uncovering some of the mysteries and consequences next episode (the wait till march is gonna kill me D: )

To be honest, this is way better than recent TT games (like GoT).

One of my first reactions was it's a bit on the short side (was expecting about 2.5-3 hours, ended up taking just under 2); but at the end where it shows all the choices that I wasn't aware of, I could see how you could probably stretch the playtime out a bit more if you explored everything.

As for the game itself, I really like it. It's a nice blend of telltale gameplay and a more naturalistic story..... Although I guess it's a bit weird to say that when we are talking about a girl that can rewind time. lol

Definitely looking forward to future episodes!

Was cool though when you go to Max's friends place and find out dirt on her step dad and then reverse time to cover your tracks.

is that an option? if you reverse time and not soil the files. does she still bring it up to chloe at the end about it? or everything we reverse does not matter because Max will technically keep the memories of it.

Yeah in my playthrough Max told her about the files on kate and about the cameras.

I believe so, though I left the soiled files. Where are you supposed to hide during the scene in Chloe's bedroom? I ended up just being present through the entire confrontation because the closet didn't work, nor did the bed, and I didn't know where else to go. Also is it actually possible to hack the laptop, or is that just there? Really impressive first episode, I enjoyed it a lot, even if there were a few minor issues. March is too long for the second part. I love the characters, even Victoria in spite of the fact that by all rational measures I should dislike her.

I hid in the wardrobe/closet. I wasn't even found out (unless he looks at footage or something).

You can hide in the closet but you have to remove the lamp first.

All I can say is that, Life is Strange is going to have a very sad ending. I believe at the end it will be Max having to let Chloe or something in that line.

What do you think the deer was meant to be at the end?

After I played episode one and this game's element is like...social issue, family, friends and responsibility because this game looks familar to me from Walking Dead. But it has been influenced by Telltale's game.

FRom my reaction was like...'Whoa this is seriously weird,' instead I was amazed by the game.

I would like to see future episode, plus Devs are awesome!

What's up with the David Madsen character, he's really creepy. I wonder how he'll tie into the whole time-rewinding story. It's like he knows something about it.

Well I really enjoyed it. I might start a new game and replay it tommorow just to see a few things I might have missed.

I had a look at the reviews on the store page from people who actually bought the game and they were all positive. When does that ever happen, seriously?
